Midlands Gurdwaras

Wedding Stories from the blog

Our journey into Asian wedding photography and videography has been nothing short of incredible over the past 10 years. We have had the privilege of capturing more than 200 beautiful weddings in and around the East and West Midlands area, each unique and special in their own way. From traditional to modern, grand to intimate, we have seen it all and have been honoured to be a part of each celebration. To make it easier for our clients and readers to navigate through our blog archive, we have categorized the different kinds of weddings and events that we have covered. Whether it’s a pre-wedding shoot (PWS) to capture those romantic moments before the big day, a traditional Hindu wedding with all its rituals and ceremonies, or a modern fusion wedding that blends different cultures and traditions, we have documented them all. Our blog archive showcases the beautiful moments we have captured, from the intricate details of the wedding attire to the vibrant colours of the decor, and the joy and happiness on the faces of the couples and their families. We hope that our archive not only serves as a source of inspiration for future couples but also as a reminder of the cherished memories that we have helped to create for our clients.

Gurdwaras in the Midlands serve as vibrant centres for the Sikh community, providing a place for worship, community gathering, and charitable activities. These gurdwaras offer a serene environment for spiritual practice, with a focus on prayer, meditation, and singing hymns from the Guru Granth Sahib. They are known for their tradition of langar, or free community meals, open to all, fostering a spirit of inclusivity. Architecturally, many blend traditional Sikh elements with modern designs, reflecting the diverse and multicultural identity of the region
